Limpopo - The Road Traffic Management Corporation has urged motorists to drive responsibly at the start of the Easter Weekend.
RTMC spokesperson Simon Zwane said that traffic volumes on major routes were high. He said that almost 2000 cars were passing through tollgates on the N1 bound for Limpopo, with thousands of Zionist Christian Church pilgrims bound for their holy site.“We are very busy there on the N1. We have experienced nearly 1500 to 2000 vehicles per hour passing through the tolls. People who were working yesterday left late and some are leaving this morning,” he said.

“To those who have started drinking, we want you to stop driving under the influence of alcohol. You can wait until you reach your destination,” Zwane said. - Daily Sun
