At first the bedroom cooled down on a hot night – then the bed bounced as if people were bonking.

That’s when Samuel Nkondweni (44) of Rayton in Tshwane said he saw a big black snake that stole his wife of six years.

He said he’s left home as he won’t compete with Mamlambo, the snake that took over his bedroom duties. But his wife, Yvonne Mkause (41), said Samuel’s mad and bitter after she refused to take him back.

“He accused me of cheating, so I chased him away.” Samuel said they had a good life until she got pregnant in 2014. Then she refused to have s.ex – and changed from being a yellow bone to pitch black. She got big pimples all over her body.”

He said the horror began with their bed shaking in the early hours of the morning. “I saw a big snake lying between us. I tried to wake her, but she kicked me and took the blankets from my hand and covered herself. Then the snake disappeared.

“I decided we should get help from a witch doctor – but she refused,” he said. Samuel said he tried in vain to snap the snake with his cellphone, as it keeps vanishing. And Yvonne won’t believe him.

“A witch doctor told me the snake is my wife’s second husband and it got angry when she got pregnant with my child.” Samuel said their child was born in February last year but his wife’s stomach is still big. The witch doctor told me the snake moved into my wife’s stomach,” he added.

Sangoma Kedibone Maboa of Ga-Rankuwa’s zone 3 said: “To get rid of the snake and make the wife forget it, the man must find a sangoma to cleanse her and their house.” - Daily Sun
