Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe has confirmed his daughter Bona has given birth to his first grandchild - a boy, according to the state owned media - and he will be coming home soon.

There had been criticism over the fact that Bona Mugabe-Chikore left the country to give birth. She likely travelled to Dubai, where her brother has been at university.
Mugabe regularly travelled to Singapore for medical attention. He told chiefs in Gutu last Friday that his wife Grace was still with Bona because doctors did not want the child to travel until he was a month old, the media reported.
Mugabe revealed that he was now a grandfather after his only daughter, Mrs Bona Chikore, gave birth to a baby boy outside the country last month. Mrs Chikore and her husband, Mr Simba Chikore.
The couple wedded on March 1 2014 at a colourful ceremony that was attended by several Heads of State and Government. - Online Sources
