Harare. – After another trial and boo-boo input – Zimbabwe has finally bequeathed the football glory back to the country starved of the much-needed action quenching the appetite of the legion of football fans.

Since their last stopover at the Afcon finals in 2006 – Zimbabwe will now make a third appearance at the decorated continental showpiece.

Warriors mentor Callisto Pasuwa becomes the third local coach to lead the team to the Afcon adventure – Sunday Chidzabwa and Charles Mhlauri are the other successful mentors in Harare soccer history.

Zimbabawe who are slowly regaining their football ranking satus has scored seven goals in two games – signaling a tough time for defenders in Gabon with their prolific scoring rate.

With a game to spare - the Warriors will date Guinea in their final dead rubber away match.

Meanwhile, Zimbabawe joins other eight nations who have already qualified for the 2017 showpiece including hosts Gabon, Algeria, Cameroon, Ghana and Egypt among others. –
