Contrary to recent reports that Pastor Evan Mawarire of This Flag Campaign was picked up by cops last night are erroneous - and the defiant campaigner actually handed himself over at Harare Central Police Station.
Mawarire said yesterday that he had been summoned by police for questioning and was handing himself in.
The Pastor remains defiant, insisting that whatever happens to him the stay away dubbed Shutdown Zimbabwe set for tomorrow and Thursday must go ahead.
Recently other Shutdown Zimbabwe campaigners Stern Zvorwadza, Promise Mkwanazi and Acie Lumumba have been questioned by police and appeared in court respectively.
