Former Kwaito supremo, Mandoza is 'serious but not critical - and he is ready to sing again' according to his friend and producer Gabriel Gabi Le Roux.
Le Roux was writing on social media to give a brief update on Mandoza's current state of health.

He wrote: Good morning all. The latest on Mandoza is:
- His Condition is serious but not critical.
- He is at home and on a good diet with treatment in place.
- He cannot see at this stage, but he can walk around easily with guidance.
- At this stage he is determined to make an appearance at the "100 Artists for R100" Event at Orlando Stadium this Saturday (accompanied by General GTZ).
