After finalising their divorce settlement that drew a lot of media attention, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and wife Anita – both Christ Embassy founders – the wife is romoured to have married.
Anita Ebhodaghe, was formerly Anita Oyakhilome, a pioneer member of Christ Embassy, where she rose to become a pastor and eventually married Pastor Chris Oyakhilome in 1991 and with whom she had two daughters.In 2014, it was in the news that Anita had filed for a divorce accusing her pastor -husband of indulging in illicit affairs with female members of the church.
This came to the fore after months of rumours suggesting that all was not well with the marriage. The couple’s marital issues got messier and became irreparable.

Shortly after, news of a suit for separation broke, and images of Anita which was on the website was removed with her name missing from subsequent editions of Rhapsody of Realities, the church devotional which she has co-authored for a long time.
