Harare – After a prolonged tussling with burial arrangements – a strong contingent from Zanu-PF and opposition politicians are set to grace the burial of Cephas Msipa – a former minister and branded government critic at the National Heroes’ Acre in Harare.
According to media sources, opposition kingpin Morgan Tsvangirai will lead his party officials on Saturday to pay their last respects to the hero who succumbed to pneumonia in Harare.“Some of our leaders will definitely attend the burial,” adding that Tsvangirai would like to attend but did not trust Mugabe.

Previously, the nonagenarian leader has seized the podium to brazenly attack and humiliate his opponents – the latest being Pastor Evan Mawarire who was undressed during the interment of Dr Charles Utete.
“… we are aware that Mugabe might what to use the platform to humiliate him – but Tsvangirai would be willing to be part of the proceedings,” party spokesperson added.
Rugare Gumbo, now recruited by Zimbabwe People First under Joice Mujuru vowed to attend the gathering.
“I definitely will be attending…,” though he could not elaborate if his leader Mujuru will come.
Dumiso Dabengwa will only attend a church service scheduled for Gweru due to other engagements – while former finance minister, Tendai Biti will pay his condolences at Msipa’s residence.
And as usual, masses will be drawn from different suburbs to prop and grace the sad occasion.
