AKA, real name Kiernan Forbes, has announced today that he and IT girl, Bonang Matheba have called it quits.

In a short statement on Twitter, the rapper announced the breakup by saying “Sad to announce that myself and @bonang_m have broken up. We tried guys. He then went on to tweet “Guys, Don’t ever love a woman more than she loves you”.

Moments before the breakup tweet, AKA tweeted “At my f****** LIMIT for bull****”.  It is not as yet clear whether or not the breakup is true but social media is already up in flames, with some believing the news and some suspecting a publicity stunt from AKA.

AKA once tweeted that he is single and then later deleted the tweet. Bonang has, in her true nature, remained mum about the whole thing. The Queen B has never been one to respond to drama about her on social media.

She has however, been on Twitter chatting to her fans about her radio show and promoting a new campaign, so we do know that she is aware of the drama. Furthermore, neither of them have deleted pictures of each other on Instagram, which is something both of them always do when they break up with people.

Earlier today, Bonang uploaded a photo of herself that was taken by Blaq Smith, who is AKA’s official photographer, which might mean they were all together and everything was fine. We do know for sure that AKA and Bonang are both in Cape Town at the moment.

The couple recently came back from a romantic holiday in Thailand and Hong Kong where they shot the music video for the World Is Yours which features Bonang. So what could have happened? Only time will tell. - Daily Sun
