Over the past weekend the 11th annual South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs) were held at the Sun City super bowl. Known as the South Africans Oscars, Stars shined in their glitz and glamorous looks.

Let’s have a look at some Mzansi Celebs who were at the #SAFTAS11 and if their outfit was a hit or a miss.

Thando Thabethe
This was Thando's red carpet dress. She wore the traditional ballroom gown for such a huge award show which was a very good idea. I love the colour and the silhouette of the dress. It's not my favourite but it's nice.

Bonang at Saftas

Bonang Matheba
Bonang looks gorgeous as always. I think this is such a beautiful red carpet dress. She dressed to slay and she did.

Thembisa Mdoda
One of my absolutely favourite looks of the night. I love dresses that have a cape; I think they just scream Power! She looks so incredible and so authentic, she is just herself.

Amanda Black
Why are we wearing a casual black leather jacket on the #SAFTAS11 red carpet? The leather jacket really spoiled this outfit.

Masechaba Ndlovu
This dress looks like someone just took satin material and wrapped Masechaba in it. I don't like it.

Somizi
I feel like Somizi has really nice clothes but he never gets it right on the red carpet. This is just a No-No. I don't know what he was thinking...No!

Lorna Maseko
A stunning dress for the red carpet. Lorna went for an old school Hollywood glam look, and it works for the #SAFTAS11 red carpet. Love this look.

Jessica Nkosi
I like this look. Her hair just stands out, it's so beautiful. I like the dress, I just thought it was a bit underwhelming because of the colour. I think had it been a different colour, it would have been one of my favourites. - Daily Sun
