Excess baggage Kaizer Chiefs striker and Zimbabwe import, Michelle Katsvairo has been offered an opportunity to join Witbank Spurs, though the player wants to stay and prove himself.

Katsvairo was placed on the transfer list by Chiefs after failing to make an impact in his debut season with Amakhosi last season.

“Witbank Spurs has offered him an opportunity to come and work with them on loan for one season. It is not on paper but the club is an option for him for next season,” said a source close to the player.

The Zimbabwean international wants to stay at Chiefs for one more season and despite being placed on the transfer list by the club.

Katsvairo is convinced he could change Steve Komphela’s mind during the pre-season and remain at Naturena next season.

The Zimbabwean footballer is a product of Zimbabwe's renowned Black Ace's Academy, he has already scored on two occasions in all competitions for the Amakhosi.

Back in Chicken Inn F.C., he accumulated a total of 14 goals in 2015-16. Joining from Chicken Inn F.C. in the summer, Katsvairo enhanced Kaizer Chiefs FC's striking options. He scored his first goal against Free State Stars to secure a 2-0 win. - The Citizen/Online Sources
