“I am aware of all these rumours circulating about myself abusing drugs to supposedly boost performances during shows and it is not even trued. People are jealous of me and I know this is coming from some of my former dancers whom I have expelled nenyaya yekusada kugeza.

“As artiste, we work with people from different backgrounds and our fans expect us to be neatly dressed as part of their expectations, so kana vanhu vasingade havo zvekugeza nekuonekera pamberi pevanhu as dancers, then it becomes a problem,” revealed the dancer.

She cites competition in the industry for the reasons behind the malice.

“At the same time, our industry has got a lot of competition and some of these artistes are now using the same rumour to tarnish my name so as to get favours from promoters. Some of these promoters are curious to hear from me about the same issue abusing of drugs to gain confidence on stage, but let it be known from today that I don’t take drugs in any performances”.

The talented dancer also revealed she is set to launch her new video titled Love Wami in collaboration with Nasty Tricks in September.

Former lead singer, Mesi recently appeared on stage after reports of a man who was down and out. He looked re-energised and in control of himself gave a good account of himself in front of legions of fans that came in droves to watch their icon perform.

“People said I was a drunkard but it only depends with the situation. That is water under the bridge now as I am back in action and we are coming with a Njerama revival gig,” he said after the gig. - Online Sources
