Arsenal have agreed a deal in principle to sign Thomas Lemar from Monaco in January. The 21-year-old France midfielder will sign a five-year deal worth £250,000 a week. 

Manchester United are prepared to rival the Gunners in the chase for Lemar. Arsenal remain interested in Manchester City's 22-year-old England winger Raheem Sterling.
