Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs boss Kaizer Motaung has hailed the impact made by administrator and former PSL general manager of football, Dan Leboa, who passed away on Friday.
Leboa had a career which included a role at Orlando Pirates as well as for the PSL as chief gate controller. As such, Motaung praised his work in developing local football and gave condolences to his family.'Chincha Guluva' told the club's official website: "His contribution to the development of football is known. My first encounter with him was way back in the 70s. He served both at club level (Pirates) and subsequently also at the PSL, where he worked as a chief gate controller.
"He made a big contribution in the formation of the NSL and later the PSL, which makes his name to be cast in iron in the history books of football in our country."

Kaizer Motaung Pays Tribute to Leboa |
Motaung added, "The Leboa family have lost a key member in their family tree. It is a difficult time for the them, I know. I wish the family well at this difficult moment.
"They should find solace for Mr Leboa had a very good innings. He left a great legacy and it is for the family to embrace that and take the baton and run with it."
Meanwhile Chiefs earned something of a surprise 2-1 victory over Mamelodi Sundowns in their Absa Premiership clash at Loftus Versfeld on Tuesday.
