English speakers in Cameroon are demanding an end to what they say is discrimination by the French-speaking majority.
In the latest development of the country's conflict, an online campaign has been launched in a bid to free journalist Patrice Nganang, who has been jailed after criticising the government in Cameroon.Nganang was born in 1970 is a Cameroonian writer, poet and teacher.
He was born in Yaoundé, Cameroon and was educated in Cameroon and Germany. He was awarded a Ph.D. in comparative literature at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University.
