Harare - Embattled soccer giants Dynamos have made a questionable decision by elevating Lloyd Mutasa to Director of Coaching, while former player Biggie Zuze assumes the coaching post.

Mutasa's promotion has caused an uproar, after he failed dismally at the helm of the club, achieving only two wins out of 10, but now assumes a directorship position.

Biggie Zuze will take over from Lloyd Mutasa who has been moved to Director of Coaching.

Mutasa won 42 out of his 88 matches in charge, and was given a three game ultimatum by the executive, leading to his 'dismissal'.

The former DeMbare midfielder is not new to the firing squad as he faced the same predicament in 2016.

"As a professional you passionately discharge your duties, even when you know you will be fired. I was not fired so I simply did my job to help Dynamos win," Mutasa said then.

"I did not let anything else occupy my mind but, concentrated on the assignment at hand. Even players I told them not to worry about me getting fired.

"I told them to play for their names because they have a lot to achieve in their careers. Everything came out well and the fans went home happy."
