In 1999, my first writing was published. This birthed my communication journey.
Breaking New Ground
Thereafter, I enrolled for media training. Words became part of me. Reading is my life. My internship within a non-governmental entity came earlier. Then it was the United Nations.
My gift opened more doors.
Advertising agency was my next stop, practising as a copywriter. The challenge was worthwhile. Conceptualisation, burning the midnight candle as well as brainstorming was a daily dose. Transforming brands became a daily bread.
Even when burdened with a writer’s block, I never missed deadlines – until today. Public relations and marketing practices followed, respectively.
My enthusiasm ballooned.
A New Beginning
February 2008, I reached Johannesburg from Harare harbouring many expectations for my destination. Diligence finally paid off as my first article appeared in The Witness, a publication controlled by News24. Soon, I graduated to a columnist for the daily.
Three years on, I was covering the health beat for a provincial government publication. Then my communication influence would expand to Botswana and UK.

And during an assignment, in Ulundi, KwaZulu-Natal, I encountered a 68-year old peasant farmer who fought a predator to save his life. His tale had taken a toll on his life. However, his predicament became an inspiration.
Now, with fifteen years of practice, my dreams have become full circle. I am an expert.
What I Do Now
Warren Buffett once observed: “It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it. If you think about that, you’ll do things differently.”
Today we utilise our practical experience to formulate lasting solutions for organisations. Our expertises focus on media monitoring and mentoring, social media analysis, corporate reputation management and content creation.

My initial passion – writing is not forsaken. I have authored forthcoming books, create life-changing speeches, freelancing as well as construct wedding vows to liven weddings.
Like before, I still read. Listen. Write. Create. And Network. Only that, it now has a business perspective.
