World player of the year Cristiano Ronaldo, being linked with a move back to Manchester United has claimed he will 'live like a king' once his playing career ends, but has ruled out a move into coaching when he hangs up his boots.

In a wide-ranging interview with Spanish newspaper El Mundo, he admitted football did not always captivate his interest.

He said. "I have a top life, but I think I am going to enjoy it more when I finish my career.

Cristiano Ronaldo On Holiday

"This Saturday there is a boxing bout in Las Vegas and I would like to take my friends and family to [watch] it, and I can't because I don't have time. I am not going to cry about it now because I am making a sacrifice in inverted commas, but after I want to live like a king."

Despite a continued denial by both parties, Ronald has been priced from Real Madrid barring the recent appointment of Zidane as the new boss. This move has opened secret bids between United and Paris Saint- Germain.

Ronaldo enjoys an annual income just short of $80-million, making him one of the top sport earners in the world.

He added: "If you ask me now if I want to be a coach, I would say no. Nor a sporting director or president of a club."
