It is easy to watch the movies and see someone that we love on the screen either with a black skin or white skin and not even know that we share the same nationality with them. 

There are some Hollywood stars that have been able to carve a niche for themselves in the number one movie industry of the world as Africans.

Danai Gurira 
This Hollywood diva is from Zimbabwe and has been able to carve a niche for herself in Hollywood with roles in movies like Lie to Me, Law and Order, The Visitor, Ghost Townand My Soul to Take, but is probably best known for her role as the sword-wielding character Michonne on the AMC series The Walking Dead.
Danai Gurira

Born in England to Nigerian parents, he starred in many classic Hollywood movies like “12 Years A Slave,” “The Martian,” “Z For Zachariah,” with the latest being “Triple 9.” How cool can this dude be?
