There’s a lot going on in Kim Mathers’ life — and she’s tired of all the speculation about it. Rather than having everyone wondering about what’s going on with her, Eminem’s ex told admitted to a suicide attempt.

Kim Mathers has been trying to lead a more private life, but after receiving major backlash because the DUI court case from her Oct. 2015 car accident was closed from the public, she’s ready to open up.
During Happier Times: Eminem and Kim

Eminem's ex-wife went on a major rant on the subject in a new interview and explained that a suicide attempt is the reason these details have been kept so hush-hush.

The DUI case was sealed and held from the public, which had people speculating that Kim was getting special treatment from the court. “Our family has never gotten preferential treatment in any court case we’ve had,” she said.

“It’s been all over the news. Everything we’ve ever done has been public.”

Kim rolled her car off the road and into a ditch last October, but she survived, and now admits that the whole thing was intentional. “I sat at the end of a road where I knew no one else but me would get hurt,” she explained.

“I drank, I took pills, and I hit the gas and aimed for a pole.” She added that she never lied to officials about her intent in the car, and that she willingly went to a psychiatric hospital to get help. “I didn’t even expect to make it through it,” she admitted.

Because of all the backlash, Eminem’s ex eventually had the files released to the public.

“After I realized how much drama it was causing, I willingly unsealed the files so that everybody can know my personal business, yet again,” she explained. - Online Sources
