Harare - The late CAPS United coach Gishon Ntini aka Gizha is no more, aged 42 - but in his short life - the diminutive gaffer was packed with controversial utterances that sometimes led him into hot water with football authorities - 'equating' him to Jose Mourinho and Moses Chunga.

As we celebrate the life of one of Zimbabwe's colourful coaches - we review some of his controversial statements he made on the football pitch.

Enjoy some of the statements coined by the late 'football speech mastermind.'

After Chiredzi FC relegation
"I am not Jesus who raise people from the dead.
The Late Gishon Ntini

"I left them where I found them - relegation zone."

After dismissal at Triangle
"I brought them in the league and finished in the top 8. I’m an icon who deserves Gibbo to be named after me."

Commenting on poor officiating at Babourfields
"The man can’t even officiate street football."

Replaced by Moses Chunga at Chiredzi
"It is a lie - he can’t replace me because I have replaced him so many times - at Black Rhinos, Shooting and at Chiredzi.”

On leaving Black Rhinos
"I have decided to leave Black Rhinos though I have tried my best. You cannot motivate players without payment or winning bonuses.

“The only cash that these players, who are soldiers are getting is $165 and this cannot motivate them to perform. So since I found them in the relegation zone, I will leave them there. They use orders and I don't take orders”

Gizha passed on Sunday night at Karanda Hospital where he was diagnosed of prostate cancer and was supposed to have an operation.

At the time of his death he was coaching Satmos in Botswana. He is survived by wife Margaret and three children. Ntini will be buried in Mhondoro Ngezi.
