The husband loved his wife so much he couldn’t let her go – even after she was arrested for attempted murder.

She hit him with a shovel on two occasions.

But now the 45-year-old man from Orange Farm, south of Johannesburg, is dead and his wife is behind bars, facing murder charges.

This was after she allegedly strangled and beat him to death before going to see her lover last Saturday.
Cheating Wife

The man’s sister claimed her brother had accepted the fact that his wife had another lover. He even took her to her boyfriend at night before going home to his cold, lonely bed,” she claimed.

“They would fight in front of the children. We were tired of telling her to stop cheating on him.” She said the woman went to the police and handed herself over the day after her husband died.

“She told the police in front of us that she had killed her husband because he kept following her whenever she wanted to go to another man,” claimed the sister.

The dead man’s uncle claimed the suspect locked the doors when she beat her husband and when she saw he was dead, threw him off the bed and went to her boyfriend. She came back the following day and turned herself in.

“We didn’t know anything until police and paramedics came to declare him dead,” he claimed. A neighbour claims she heard the man screaming for help.

“I tried to help him but the doors were locked. After a few minutes there was silence, so I went home but I worried all night. The following morning, I woke up to find police and a mortuary van at the house.”

Orange Farm police spokesman Captain Johannes Motsiri confirmed that a woman was arrested for the murder of her husband. She will appear in court soon. - Daily Sun
