Home Affairs Minister Malusi Gigaba won’t tolerate homophobes (people who treat homosexuals badly) in South Africa.
Gigaba was speaking yesterday at a meeting in Tshwane with the Human Rights Commission, and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex representatives, about the protection of their rights. |

The meeting was to discuss the coming visit of US pastor Steven Anderson this month. Anderson has called for the murder of gays and lesbians.
Gigaba said they have carefully weighed all the options. “This is a sensitive matter that has to be tackled with caution.
"We can’t refuse him, but we can give him a warning about preaching any hate speech. Homophobes will not be allowed.” - Daily Sun
