Police rescued 16 girls who were allegedly forced to engage in s.ex with more than a dozen men daily in return for a meager return.
The girls told officers they had endured s.exual abuse at the hands of hundreds of men, according to media reports.“A 15-year-old girl said she was brought here by Nigerians two weeks back and they promised her they were going to give her a job – that’s how she got here,” police told the media.

The young women told Hawks officers and others from the SA Police Service that they were abused, drugged and starved.
They said they were forced to sleep with more than 15 men a day each and the clients would pay between R50 and R70.
The police officers arrested four men, found drugs and pornographic material as they swept through the house. The young women sat outside the house crying and comforting each other as they told reporters of their capture and abuse.
Hawks head Major General Mthandazo “Berning” Ntlemeza was on the scene and explained that they had discovered that some of the victims were from Soweto and their parents had possibly had no idea of what had happened to their daughters. - Online Sources
