Harare – Former Manchester City striker Benjani Mwaruwari was not only banging goals for his clubs – but he was equally capable in bedroom, according to extramarital allegations with a lady 10 years his senior – information leaked by a whistle blower in the ongoing soccer match fixing scandal reveal.

The informer, Leeroy Kundishora Waguta claims former ZIFA chief executive Henrietta Rushwaya had a romantic outing with the former Warriors attacker.

“Rushwaya had a relationship with Mwaruwari and she had (unlimited access) to his properties. She did what she pleased and brought people to the house,” claimed the informant who managed Mwaruwari’s various properties.

The two have a 10-year age difference – Rushwaya was born in 1968 – while Benjani birthdate is 1978.

Rushwaya, Edzai Kasinauyo and former Warriors assistant coach, Nation Dube face a bout of match-fixing allegations involving serial match-fixer, Raj Perumal.

“I was introduced to a convicted match-fixer, Raj Perumal, by Rushwaya and I stayed with him at Mwaruwari’s house in Kyalami Estate in Midrand, South Africa. I was working for Mwaruwari, managing his properties in South Africa,” Waguta added.

Rushwaya’s lawyer, Simon Mupindu, presented an alibi and said his client entered South Africa on February 5 and returned the same day, contrary to Waguta’s assertions that the pair had a series of meetings.

The deal went sour after Rushwaya claimed a fat bounty contrary to what had been initially agreed. - tinzwei.com/Online Sources
