Harare – Trevor Noah’s anticipating crowds were left seething in anger due to his sudden withdrawal from hosting the MTV Africa Music Awards – and here is why…
His apology was delivered via social media – Twitter.“I've been fighting a severe upper respiratory and ear infection this week and despite tons of medication the infection has gotten the better of me.
“Due to the infection and strain on my vocal chords the doctor has ordered me to rest my voice and recover my health.”
Noah now based in America, has hosted the event previously. Born in 1984 in South Africa, he hosts The Daily Show, a late-night television talk show on Comedy Central.
