Inter Milan are reportedly planning to demote manager Stefano Pioli in order to facilitate their push to appoint a new manager this summer, with Antonio Conte their No 1 target.
Conte has been coy over his Chelsea future, insisting he is only focusing on their Premier League title challenge and not thinking about the summer.
Roman Abramovich is desperate for the Italian to remain at Stamford Bridge and a new contract has been offered.

However, changes at Inter could see the former Italy head coach leaving west London for Milan.
According to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter’s owners the Suning Group are considering a reshuffle at the San Siro.
Tuning chief Zhang Jindong is said to be ready to demote Pioli, who only took over after Frank de Boer was sacked last October. Pioli will supposedly be forced out of the Inter managerial role and moved over to manager the Nerazzurri’s sister club, Jiangsu Suning.
Jiangsu finished second in the 2016 Chinese Super League but have got off to a terrible start to the campaign this year and sit rock bottom of the division.
Pioli wants to remain in charge of Inter but were he to be sent out to China then the Serie A outfit would then begin their search for a new boss. - Express
