Johannesburg - Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that midfielder Siphelele Ntshangase has joined them following his move from Baroka FC.

The 24-year-old has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal and will wear the jersey number five. There's an option to extend his contract for another year.

Ntshangase has dominated headlines over the past few days after Baroka revealed that Amakhosi were chasing the signature of one of their most prized possessions.

The former Black Leopards midfielder had been linked with a move to Amakhosi in the last transfer window, but he ended up joining Baroka.
Chiefs Finally Get their Man

Ntshangase's heart has been set on a move to Chiefs and the KZN born player will now get to realise his dream of playing for the Soweto giants.

He becomes the club's third signing after they acquired the services of Leonardo Castro and Kabelo Mahlasela from Mamelodi Sundowns and Bloemfontein Celtic respectively.

Ntshangase, who had 10 appearances in all competitions and three assists in the first half of the season, spent the last week training with his former side Baroka and will no doubt be raring to go as Chiefs look to win their first trophy under coach Steve Komphela.

Chiefs have done their business early in the transfer window and management will be hoping Komphela can find the right combinations to finally lead them to glory. - Kick-Off
