Johannesburg - Unsettled Mamelodi Sundowns striker Khama Billiat has been nominated for the PSL Goal of the Month prize for his two similar free kicks against Platinum Stars.

One of Billiat's strike has put him in contention for honours, together with his counterpart Sibusiso Vilakazi.

Vilakazi went on a marauding run before curling the ball past goalkeeper Dino Visser from outside the box in a 3-0 victory over Dikwena at Loftus Versfeld.

City pair Rodney Ramagalela and Walter Musona were nominated for goals against Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs on January 6 and 13 respectively.

Golden Boot frontrunner Ramagalela blasted home in a 3-2 loss to the Brazilians, while Musona beat Bafana Bafana number one Itumeleng Khune with a thunderous free-kick from range.

Chiefs striker Leonardo Castro, Ajax Cape Town's Tashreeq Morris, Orlando Pirates' Luvuyo Memela, Bloemfontein Celtic's Ndumiso Mabena, Bidvest Wits' Daylon Claasen and Chippa United's Linda Mntambo are also in the running for the accolade.

Downs skipper Hlompho Kekana scooped the gong for November with a stunning strike from inside his own half against Pirates.
