Hip hop vocalist, Kikky Badass never apologises for flaunting her assets.

Whether she poses like a model, a singer, she is always prepared to shock us. On stage, armed with a mic and flowing lyrics, the rapper is bad as her stage name proposes.

In one of her Instagram posts, the singer boldly stated, “in PEITHO COLLECTION. Serving melanin per usual. Don’t hate, take notes,” she advised her detractors. In the image, she appears in black lingerie, promoting the brand.

Peitho is a Greek mythical goddess who personifies persuasion and seduction. On the education front, she pursued psychology, a science of the mind and behaviour.

Yet another post, on 8 March, the International Women’s Day, she praised all women, showing her bravery to appreciate women like her, who are willing to be criticised for their chosen profession.

“Happy Women’s Day to all the lovely, hardworking, beautiful, intelligent, kind, and loving women out there y’all special.”

At birth she was named Christabell Mahlungwa, she is occasionally called the Goddess of Too Much Sauce, and that nickname aptly describes her character.

Each post she sends on social media, she exudes a form of cheeky rudeness that sends her viewers haywire. Comments such as you are hot are popular on her various timelines.

And her assets, as they call ladies’ bottoms in the ghetto slang are proving to be a strength she is proud of. Unlike some of the people who are afraid of their nakedness, Kikky is pleased with her body and is ready to defend her chosen career path.

Undoubtedly, she inherited a portion of her stage charisma and stamina from Nicki Minaj, the Trinidadian-American rapper, songwriter, and model. Early in her career, Minaj wore colourful costumes, wigs, and her distinct flow.

Lyrical wars, just like in the American spheres are part of her daily life. A song titled “Strive Masiwa” instigated by a beef between her and Tiara Baluti, was released. In the song, she calls her opponent one who dates older men, hence she is finished.

“Funny fact I’m like “THE BEST” and you still twerking for the whiskey best, layman’s language put the metaphors to rest,” she wrote on Facebook, seemingly a rejoinder to one of her haters. Body Conversations, a steamy video she released in 2017 made her stamp her authority as a rapper.

The song was part of her Queen of The South, her debut album. Her efforts earned her a people’s Choice Award at the Zim Hip-Hop Awards in 2017, becoming the first female to attain such.
