Harare – With his deteriorating health status due a colon cancer bout, MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai is rumoured to be on his way to Germany to seek spiritual intervention from an unnamed Zimbabwean Prophet.

The anonymous healer has also predicted Tsvangirai's surprising win in the forthcoming 2018 elections.

“In a final bid to turn his health fortunes, Tsvangirai is set to fly out of South Africa anytime soon for healing in Germany, where he is reportedly set to meet a prophet,” a source told the media.

While in the country, the fiery opposition leader will receive two chemotherapy sessions, as his health condition has triggered social media continue to postulate his demise.

“Elizabeth has since organised and received visas for the three-day trip for an undisclosed party delegation travelling with Tsvangirai to Germany and they have been granted their visas.

“The prophet in question is said to have prophesied that Tsvangirai is going to win the 2018 polls, beating Mnangagwa in a shock outcome,” the informer known by the NewsDay claimed.

The move by Elizabeth comes after doctors have summoned his family to update them on his worrying health status, with some suggesting he has less than three months to live.

“The president is alive, but his health has deteriorated from the time he left the country. He is not feeling well and everyone is worried about his health. I saw social media messages saying he is dead, that is not correct, he is still alive,” the source added.

In his absence, the opposition party has been divided into there distinctive camps, with one supporting Tsvangrai's ouster, while Nelson Chamisa has outshone Elias Mudzuri and Thokozani Khupe to replace the ailing Premier.

“He is in hospital and he was supposed to have a teleconference with the party leadership. I am not sure if it went ahead, but that was the plan. Obviously people can’t keep calling and checking if he is still alive,” the authoritative source continued.

Due to ill-health, Tsvangirai's last public appearance was at the inauguration of President Emmerson Mnangagwa last November and has not been running the party since then.
