Rapture Prophecy: ‘Is Prophet Talent Mudungwe Playing God?’

Harare – Attempts by the little-known and self-anointed cleric to 'play God' has backfired after his bizarre claims that the world will end on 20 October 2016 failed – a motive viewed by observers as an attempt to spruce his petite image, earning himself the title: religion fanatic.

The Harare-based prophet sent media into scoop frenzy – particularly the vernacular press which covered the story extensively.

Earlier on, the 30-year-old pronounced that he had an encounter with the ‘creator – and was subsequently appointed a prophet of all nations.’

“I am now waiting the coming of God, while I am praying relentless in order to meet Him. I will offer all my problems because I am the only living person who has managed to meet with God,” claimed the initiator of little known Exile Desire of All Ministries Nations.

His decree, as expected attracted serious censure from sections of the Christian community – but he remained undeterred.

In his latest controversy, Prophet Mudungwe maintained that ‘God will visit Zimbabwe without fail – and he was in constant contact with Him.’

‘God is coming to Zimbabwe without fail. When God visited Abraham, He came physically – and this will happen to me as well.”

The rendezvous remains unknown, he revealed. Though the scriptures are specific on false prophets, the trend has picked momentum of late. “People must repent their sins before this day,” he added.

His actions are synonymous with Penuel Mnguni – the reptile pastor who made congregates to eat live snakes.

South African Pastor Lesego Daniel took the obscenity a notch higher when he told his congregation to eat grass and drink petrol. Prophet Mboro later shocked the world, saying he descended to heaven – and took selfies with Christ.

Mudungwe remains unyielding by the widespread criticism from the Christian family. “I am not surprised by those who criticise me saying I am a Satanist – because even Christ was rejected by people.”
